Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser is developed for adults or teenagers with oily, spot prone or combination skin types.
Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser removes excess oil by up to 60% without drying the skin or producing any significant irritation. It has a lightly foaming action and leaves the skin with a clean feeling, without any residue. The gentle, soap free, rinse-off formulation is designed to remove surface oils, dirt, and makeup without leaving the skin feeling tight or overly dry. It is a non-comedogenic product (does not clog pores). There is a light fragrance which washes off after rinsing.
The soap-free formulation doesn’t strip the skin of too much of its natural moisturising oils, which are an important part of skin’s normal barrier function. It is important to be gentle when cleansing even oily skins: because oil production is increased by irritation, harsh cleansing may make the skin produce more oil. Washing with hot water washes away oil faster and can have a drying or irritating effect. Therefore it is better to use warm water for a more gentle approach to facial cleansing. Patting your skin dry after rinsing is more gentle – rubbing the skin too much can also cause irritation and more oil production.
Use for twice daily cleansing as part of a healthy skin care routine.

Love your skin with these 3 simple steps
Step 1: Cleanse your face and body
Harsh detergents in soap can strip the skin of its natural moisturising oils, adding to dryness, irritation, and inflammation.
Using milder, skin pH-friendly soap-free cleansers won’t deplete these natural oils.
It’s better to use cool or warm water for washing. Hot water washes away your skin’s natural oils and moisture faster.
Avoid irritating your skin with harsh scrubbing, particularly on your face when cleansing, and gently pat your skin dry with a towel after washing.
Step 2: Moisturise your face
Moisturising creams help to both rehydrate and prevent moisture loss, helping the skin maintain its natural protective barrier and tolerance to irritation.
It seems counter-intuitive, but even oilier skin types still need to moisturise after cleansing. Look for moisturisers that are ‘non-comedogenic’- meaning they won’t block pores.
When used regularly, moisturisers help skin feel soft, smooth and comfortable, whilst looking visibly healthy.
UV light is around us all year. Protect your face from the damaging and ageing effects of daily exposure to UV light with a moisturiser containing SPF.
Step 3: Moisturise your body
Don’t forget your body and your hands.
Daily hydration with a moisturiser should include the skin of the whole body, not just the face.
Non-comedogenic moisturisers won’t block pores – especially important when moisturising skin on the chest and back areas.
Help protect your hard-working hands and keep the skin soft with a hand cream – use hand creams after hand washing and at night for overnight TLC.
